B-b-b-Birthdays and Showers

Tue Apr 8, 2008, 8:01 PM
Let's see here...where in my tale did I leave off? Ah, yes, I believe it was here, in chapter fifteen, section twelve that we last spoke... Let's continue, shall we?

Anywho, I tacked another tally into the life wall yesteday, and I must say, I'm disappointed! I don't FEEL overly mature, nor do I feel particularly wise. Instead, I have spent spring break with friends galore and acted mostly like a complete kid. Not that I'm complaining, but still. XD It's been a good kind of week.

There are new babies springing up everywhere, my stupid, stupid father flipped the jeep, and I recently obtained two AFI CDs free of charge!

Finally, I just jumped out of the shower and smell AMAZING. Like baby shampoo and love. It can't get any better than this.

Wishing you lots of buttsecks and sunshine this Spring,
Megan

Like a Virgin!

Mon Dec 10, 2007, 9:27 PM
Ah, it's been so long I think I grew my DA Journal virginness back.

Anyway, with the Holidays fast approaching, so too comes the stress and good GAWD has it hit. Don't you just love obligations? I know I'm asking Santa for more!

In other news, I started "Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs" today, along with yet another mediocre novel...sometimes, you've just got to stick with what's best.

In closing, it is still Georgia. We still have no snow -let alone water, for Bunnies sake- and the streets are all alight with the glow of pretty suburban XMAS lights.

By golly, have a holly and jolly one, guys---

A Morning

Wed Jul 11, 2007, 2:53 AM
After another sleepless night, I'm proud to say I'm headacheless, and relaxed. FINALLY.

I just got the word of the day in my email:

betimes \bih-TYMZ\, adverb:

1. Early; in good time; before it is late.
2. At times; on occasion.
3. [Archaic] Soon; in a short time.

Seems oddly fitting, doesn't it? I'm off to take some sunrise pictures.

A Night

Tue Jul 10, 2007, 2:54 AM
Between the hours of 6 yesterday and 6:30 something today I:
Ate Hotdogs and Macaroni
Shaved my younger brother's head, temporarily giving him a curly mohawk.
Got online after ten.
Sent Over 300+ emails between :iconstoogilicious: and myself.
Finally was able to write again, after a long and particularly gruesome quest.
Drew just a bit...my sketchbook is with joy.
Read a bit of Slash to keep the mind going
Ate a PB&J with a clementine to wash it down around 1 a.m.
Re-realized the joys of raspberry jelly.
Found myself sitting in a position similar to that of L's from DN.
Read post after post on the AFISlash Forums.
Downloaded a Muse album and some Depeche Mode
Acquired the worst headache.
Tried repeatedly to find a digital recording program, but in the end couldn't find one that I knew how to work.
Jumped for joy when Stooge sent me some old AFI songs that I deeply cherish.
Researched the Nikon D40. A DAMN fine camera.
Watched people sign on and off of AIM.
Accidently sent a picture of a girl with only a sombrero to Joy. (realized afterwards it was artistic nude)
Acquired the tutorial on how to make an Origami Camera out of a single dollar bill, using no cuts, tape, or glue.
Popped my elbow about a bajillion times after typing.
Had the EXTREME urge to shoot some birds outside of my window.
Sang a bit of Avenue Q.
Watched the sun rise.
Recieved the word of the day in my email:
pecuniary \pih-KYOO-nee-air-ee\, adjective:

1. Relating to money; monetary.
2. Consisting of money.
3. Requiring payment of money.

Info on the conference to come. Chrisitan Mosh Pit= Crosh pit. Be afraid. be VERY afraid.

The Declaration of Summer Incarnate

Wed Jul 4, 2007, 9:23 AM
Happy Fourth of July!!! My family is sitting around like the lazy Americans we are, having a cookout + watermelon...oh, summer lovvvve. Tonight we'll go see fireworks with everybody else in town and their cousins (twice removed or otherwise) at the highschool...

This weekend I'll be going with :iconitsatruck: to some Chrisitan conference...which should bring lots of laughs on my half...a heretic at some conference...This tops the general "wolf in sheep' clothing" and speeds right to "The athiest in church clothes, hiding some afislash in her rented-bible."

Tipp, my sister, is sitting right behind me. She looks over at my mum and says "It's only six months till Christmas!" Mum: *sigh* I know...I'm depressed about it already. It's a mad scramble to keep everyone around here and in the jolly pious spirit in december...

But hey, it is July, the fourth to be exact...Enjoy the holiday! Eat those ribs like the pig they come from! Or, have some tasty tofu and eggplant...

Now they're talking about doctor's appointments...Tipp: He [my brother] has her beat!" (He hasn't been to the doctor in a decade...) "If it wasn't for the tumor in my head I still wouldn't have gone!" *rousing laughter*

Oh, the joys of family life...

:peace: Megan
